Established by Kip Gates as a family business in 1978, River's Bend Outfitters consists of 9 camps in the Flat Tops Wilderness and White River National Forest. These camps range in elevation from 8,000 to 11,000

feet above sea level and all have permits through the USDA Forest Service.The camps are warm, comfortable, and outfitted with quality equipment. The terrain is spectacularly mountainous, with unspoiled pine forests, abundant trout streams, pristine lakes, and beautiful mountain meadows awash in wildflowers. Hunts are also conducted on the private family ranch, which is a working cattle ranch that has been in the family for five generations. It is here that we raise and train the trusty horses that will be your companions for your unforgettable trek into the wilderness.
